Why a bolster rather than pillows?
Because a stack of pillows sags and shifts with every movement. A 150 cm bolster closes in a U around you and keeps its shape, so the baby keeps the same height — and your arms do not have to make up for it.
Does the cover machine wash?
Yes, it comes off with a zip and goes in the machine. The manufacturer does not publish a temperature: follow the label sewn into the cover.
What is the button for?
To close the two ends of the bolster together, giving it a U or a knot shape, depending on the position you are after.
Is it useful outside feeding?
The manufacturer also presents it as a prop during pregnancy, in particular for sleeping on your side, and as a support for the baby when they are learning to sit up.
It arrives flat, is that normal?
