Can I fit it myself, without tools?
Yes. Two 4 m straps go under the mattress and pull tight; there's nothing to drill. Allow a few minutes.
How much weight does it take?
It's rated for 60 kg of support, at a height adjustable between 45 and 55 cm. It's a support point for sitting up and then standing, not something to hang from.
I'm just out of an operation and will only need it for a few weeks — then what?
That's a case it's designed for: it fits without drilling and comes off just as quickly, unlike a wall-mounted bar. It dismantles and stores away until it's needed again.
Is there anything to keep an eye on over time?
Yes, the strap tension loosens with use. Re-tighten it from time to time, especially after changing the sheets or the mattress.
