Tired legs after a day on your feet

After eight or ten hours on your feet, your legs stop going unnoticed. Here is what this section holds, what each item actually does — and, for two of them, what is worth knowing before you click.

First, three things that cost nothing

  1. Put your legs higher than your hips for a quarter of an hour when you get home. A cushion under the calves, not under the heels: it is the calf that needs to be supported, otherwise the knee pulls.
  2. Do not stand still. Walking is less tiring than standing on the spot. If your work keeps you in one place, shift your footing often.
  3. Look at your shoes. A sole worn down on one side, a size that is too tight by the end of the day: you can see it, and you can change it.

Those three are free. Do them before buying anything at all.

Keeping your legs in place at night

The leg pillow (27,90 €) goes between the knees when you sleep on your side, or under the calves when you are on your back. Memory foam, 25 × 15 × 21 cm. The usual complaint — it ends up on the floor around three in the morning — is dealt with by the Velcro strap, which keeps it attached to the leg.

Cold, heat, support

The gel knee wrap

One accessory, two uses: the gel pack goes in the microwave or the freezer, then back into its pocket. 75 × 24 cm, adjustable Velcro, removable pack (32,90 €). We will not tell you which of the two to choose: that depends on you, and it is not for a product page to decide.

The honeycomb knee pads

Sold in pairs, in M, L or XL (24,90 €), with a honeycomb structure over the kneecap and a non-slip inner strap. They hold the knee during effort. That is all they do, and it is already useful when you spend the day crouching.

The devices

The air compression leg massager (89,90 €) wraps around the calf: air chambers inflate and deflate one after the other, up to 96 kPa, across 4 modes and 4 intensities. It plugs into the mains and uses only 6,5 W. Carry bag included.

The massage gun (64,90 €) works by percussion, from 2 600 to 3 200 strokes per minute, across 6 speeds and with 6 interchangeable heads. Touchscreen, 1 500 mAh battery, automatic shut-off. It is a device you dose: start at the bottom of the scale.

In the same section, the rechargeable hand massager (59,90 €) does the same thing for the hands, with 5 heads and 12 modes.

The socks: read this before buying

Our socks (16,90 €) are nylon and elastane, 70 Den, sold in pairs, one size, hand wash.

These are not medical compression stockings. Medical compression is measured, prescribed, and carries a class (I to IV) marked on the product. If a doctor has spoken to you about them, buy what they specified, from a pharmacy — not here. We would rather lose a sale than let you buy the wrong product.

What none of these items replaces

A leg that swells on one side only, a pain that settles in, unusual redness or warmth: that is not a matter for an accessory, it is a matter to put to a doctor, and without waiting. Everything sold on this page is a comfort item; none of them is a medical device and none of them replaces professional advice.

Several at once

The Light Legs pack brings several of these items together for less than their separate total. And in every case, you have 14 days to change your mind, with no need to explain yourself.
